ANDO Hikaru

Freelance Programmer, Kyujutsu Practitioner

I never forgot the joy of creating my first website in junior high school. After graduating from university, I left my first company after just six months. Since then, I have self-taught programming languages such as Java, C#, Javascript, C++, and Python, as well as related technologies like algorithms. I gained practical experience with Git, Sass, and jQuery plugin development through projects at various ventures including a video website startup, a cosmetics company, and a real estate search site. I studied abroad from 2015 to 2016. In my mid-twenties, I achieved over 1 million yen annual income through remote work, after which I entered graduate school to pursue research in information and communication engineering. Subsequently, I served as CTO at a venture company with about 50 employees in Tokyo, where I obtained multiple patents for systems developed during my tenure. I currently work extensively as a freelance programmer, software architect, and AI engineer specializing in natural language processing and machine learning.
Beyond IT, I am actively involved in multiple fields including traditional kyujutsu (Japanese archery) revival movements through archery facility operations, freediving, and fishing, with national championship titles and Japanese records in these areas. More recently, I am expanding my activities into action direction for films and dramas, applying my kyujutsu research expertise to this creative field.
