What makes arrays and linked lists different? How to choose between them — mostly reads or mostly writes — and how Java's ArrayList / LinkedList are built inside, explained with diagrams.
See DetailsFrom referential transparency — same input, always the same output — to Lisp, the oldest functional language. Learn recurrences, recursion, and memoization through Fibonacci numbers and the Tower of Hanoi.
See DetailsFunctions that build functions, and closures that capture private state. Program reusability explained through a memoizer whose initial values and recurrence are both pluggable.

About the Instructor
Kotaro Ando
Freelance Programmer
Never forgot the joy of creating his first website in middle school, and left the company he joined as a new graduate after just six months. Subsequently, he studied programming languages such as Java, C#, Javascript, C++, and Python, as well as related technologies like algorithms, on his own. He gained practical experience in venture video site creation projects, a cosmetics company, and a real estate search site operation company, working with git, sass, and jQuery plugin development. He went to the US from 2015 to 2016. In his mid-twenties, he achieved over 100 million yen annual income through remote work. Later, he pursued graduate school to research information and communications engineering. Afterward, he served as CTO at a venture company with about 50 people in Tokyo, where he obtained multiple patents for systems during his tenure. Currently active as a freelance programmer, software architect, and AI engineer specializing in machine learning focused on natural language processing.
